About Us

Isaac Laskin is a Yale graduate and former faculty member at Harvard-Westlake School, where he taught Middle School History and Upper School English. His work in the classroom earned him a “Senior Tribute Award” (an honor conferred by graduating students) and the distinction of being the most requested college recommendation writer of 2014 (thirty-one letters!!). He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he graduated with honors.

Nick Weiss graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, where he was awarded both a Maier Scholarship and a John Harvard Scholarship. He has taught Judaic Studies at every grade level K through 12 and has been thanked in countless Bar Mitzvah speeches throughout Los Angeles. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Media Arts.

Outside of teaching, Isaac and Nick have both worked as professional screenwriters, partnering to write projects for CBS, Universal, and Peacock. Separately, Nick directed a movie for Paramount and a pilot for ABC, and Isaac wrote the award-winning musical Hey, Morgan!
